These are all so cute and unique! For a while I’d pick up postcards from garage sales, estate sales, or art museums. I still have a box of them that I sometimes pull out to send to a friend or use as a birthday card.

Do you make special trips to search for postcards/stickers, or do you just happen to look for them if you’re somewhere they may be found?

I don’t do special trips exactly, but sometimes the promise of finding postcards will motivate me to explore a new place (feel slightly ashamed to admit that, introvert alert). It’s a real enthusiasm and if we’re touring a lot and it feels really tough in some way, an extra banging postcard/some stickers found in a certain place can make me feel connected and happy again ☺️ think a lot of it is joy in the searching 🔍

Yes, I find this very interesting to see. My wife and I visited the beautiful Tirzah Garwood exhibition at Dulwich Picture Gallery last week: I was fascinated by her scrapbooks and can’t help but feel a connective thread here.
